blog again

I don't really like to blog here or blogging. There are so many things to write.

I'm happy to visit Jogja this Nov. It was a grea trip. Now I'm figuring where and which photos to upload.

One of my colleague is getting married in 2 weeks time. It's definitely going to be very happening because most of the staff are going. 2 of my Indian friends will be going to Ipoh's Old Town to hunt some dresses. I can't imagine what I'm going to buy.

Currently, I've still got 2 more theory papers to finish up before the finals.

grrr....

Electrifying sensation....

bitter morning

It's a day after Merdeka celebration.

As I was waiting the photos to upload, I decided to greet a colleague in the photocopy machine room. I walked in and noticed he had problem with the machine so I offered help. I checked. I opened the front lid and his paper flew out. To my surprised, I thought I heard "xxxx" came out of his mouth. I wondered if I heard wrongly.

I just went to a course where all gov ppl have to attend. From the way they presented the course seems to contradict with '1 Malaysia', this year's Merdeka theme. The presentation of the origins, the invaders, the leaders, the history, etc - were blurry. I hope the listeners discerned the contents presented.

There may be many versions of history of Malaysia recorded and different people present history in an absolutely different perspective. And I've heard a few versions of it. Which is the right one anyway?

This is what I think.

No matter what it is being said or written, the Creator of the Universe has already recorded the story of Malaysia in His book. We can always visit the heaven's library to know the truth. He chose the leaders, the prime ministers before he's being chosen by the people. It's God's divine intervention that today's Malaysians landed in this land hundreds of years ago. It's simply God's purpose for this land to be colourful. And today, He's divine hands are still working on this land.

Happy birthday Malaysia. This year's theme is 1 Malaysia. I read up today's MSN news on World's famous Malaysians:
1. DATO’ MICHELLE YEOH, the actress

2. DATO’ JIMMY CHOO OBE, the shoemaker
3. SHEILA MAJID, the queen of jazz
4. LING TAN, the top model
5. AMBER CHIA, the supermodel
6. NICHOLAS TEO, the pop star
7. DATO’ SITI NURHALIZA, the songstress
8. DATUK DR. SHEIKH MUSZAPHAR SHUKOR, the spaceman
Cool ~

I didn't expect mom to clean the house today. I'm glad that I'm at home to help. We changed cushion covers and vacuumed the ceiling. The vacuum sucked in about 20 big and small spiders. Now the spiders are all quarantined in the vacuum cleaner forever.

touch 'n go

I was glad I had touch n go. The queue was so long at the toll. Many cars returned for hols.

Happy Birthday Malaysia.

Days are passing fast

Yesterday, I worked on the application forms to overseas. Still haven't submit because have to fit in some missing documents.

Today, I managed to work on students' quizzes. Just finished setting up one set of questions for diploma English. 7 sets to go, phew...

rainy days

I didn't realized that it's been long I've abandoned this blog. Now is Aug. Time flies. Soon it'll be Merdeka day. It's raining in Taiping. Today's the 3rd day I'm home after BTN. Dr suspected I had dengue. Thank God blood test results came out normal.

Mom and I went dinner at Flemington Hotel. It's really tasty. We had Flemington friend rice and a special chicken chop dish which I've forgotten what it's called. We sat at a table facing the lake gardens and the hills.
